Atlantic Builders Limited is a Prime Contractor that is dedicated to working collaboratively with you, the Owner. We work directly with home owners, and business owners in the industrial-commercial-institutional (ICI) sectors. We build homes, manufacturing facilities, and aquaculture facilities (fish farms and fish hatcheries). Atlantic Builders Limited maintains trusting relationships with our customers, as their building partner, who can help them achieve (and exceed) their construction goals with integrity, respect, and professionalism.
Our Team
Our dedicated, knowledgeable, and experienced building team are able to support any type of issue during the course of a project, without interruption to the project flow or any compromise in quality. David Stevens, P. Eng.
President
Dave Stevens founded Silk Stevens in 2006. He is a Registered Professional Engineer with 30 years’ experience, primarily as a Civil design engineer, planner and manager. Dave is licensed to practice engineering in 9 provinces. His background as a design engineer and experience in consulting engineering, environmental engineering, and aquaculture provide a unique background, skillset and knowledge to offer construction and engineering services to a diverse group of construction clients. Extensive building design, site design, environment, health and safety, and fisheries and aquaculture experience give Dave the ability to offer “simple solutions and practical advice” to construction clients for residential, commercial, industrial and aquaculture / RAS projects.
Jim Parks
Team Leader, Residential and Commercial
As an accomplished builder with over 35 years’ experience, Jim has built many homes, exterior buildings, and decks during his career. His detailed and skilled workmanship has proven success, meeting budgets and deadlines, with strong time management skills. A dedicated professional, Jim has always had our company and client’s best interest in mind. As an added asset to ABL’s culture of safety, Jim has mentored many trades people over his many years as a high quality carpenter and builder with great results.
